A space to be heard, in your own time

ChildrenChildren do not always have the words to explain what they are feeling. Counselling offers a safe and supportive space where they can express themselves, make sense of their experiences and develop ways of navigating their emotions and the world around them.
AdolescentsAdolescence can bring change, uncertainty and emotions that are difficult to put into words. Counselling provides a space where young people can speak openly, explore what they are experiencing and feel heard without judgement, while developing greater understanding of themselves.
AdultsSometimes we carry experiences, emotions or challenges for longer than we realise. Counselling offers space to slow down, explore what is happening beneath the surface and understand yourself more deeply, supporting you to find ways forward that feel meaningful and authentic to you.
Areas of support

Reasons people come to counselling

People come to counselling for many different reasons. Sometimes there is a particular difficulty or experience they want to explore; sometimes it is harder to name, and they simply know that something does not feel quite right.

The areas below are examples of what may bring someone to counselling, rather than an exhaustive list. You do not need a diagnosis, a label or even a clear understanding of what is happening before reaching out.

If your experience is not reflected here, you are welcome to get in touch so we can consider together whether Serenita may be the right support for you.

Support in understanding anxious thoughts, feelings and responses, while exploring ways to feel more grounded and able to cope.
